Afterschool Art Classes Monday - Friday 4:00 - 6:00pm
Saturday Classes 10:30am - 12:30pm (extra hr option start at 9:30am)
We understand that school schedules can be busy and often change throughout the term. That's why our Afterschool Art Classes for Tweens & Teens offer a flexible booking structure, allowing students to attend the sessions that best fit around their school commitments and extracurricular activities.
Choose the days that work for you while maintaining the flexibility to balance sport, music, tutoring, and other commitments.

We recognise that Tweens and Teens need opportunity to develop their creativity through autonomy. We encourage self paced painting larger or more detailed pieces of each students choice. We guide and encourage self expression while learning skills using variety of mediums. So if your child would like to further develop their drawing, painting techniques or sculpture that this is the class for them.
About our Afterschool Art for Teens
Our Afterschool Art Classes for High School students are led by experienced and highly skilled artists and tutors who have completed tertiary qualifications in Fine Arts. This allows them to share their extensive knowledge while mentoring and inspiring young artists. Many of our instructors are also undertaking postgraduate studies in Art Therapy, bringing an added depth of understanding to the way they support and encourage students.
Children who cannot make it to Primary Painters (9yrs +) welcome to join also
This unique combination means our classes offer exceptional artistic instruction in a calm, nurturing environment. Students receive expert guidance in developing strong technical skills, exploring a range of mediums, refining their creative process, and discovering their own artistic style. Whether they are creating for enjoyment, preparing a portfolio, or working towards exhibitions and art competitions, our tutors are equipped to challenge and inspire each student to reach their full creative potential.
They are intentionally designed to be a welcoming and supportive space where teens can decompress after school, build confidence, express themselves creatively, and experience the wellbeing benefits that making art can provide. Many families tell us that Wave Art has become a place where their teenagers feel safe, accepted, inspired, and excited to create.
